who's still not over that giants' win last night?? me, definitely me.
let's be honest. entering this sunday night football game, the dallas cowboys were on the hottest streak in the NFL. most giants fans can agree that it was a little tough to be optimistic about our team pulling through with a win. everything was on the cowboys' side. we were coming off an embarassing loss to the steelers, losing jason pierre-paul to injury. the giants were already looking at a difficult game against the cowboys. but playing without JPP was even worse... or so we thought. there weren't many people who were confident in the giants getting a win in the first place. once JPP was ruled out, most of us thought that big blue didn't stand a chance. but boy were we wrong. sunday night's game proved that all of the free agent spending in the offseason was worth it. the defense never looked better - well, since the days of justin tuck and michael strahan. it was crucial for the defense to be strong because the offense had another tough game... i lost track of how many interceptions eli threw. forgetting about the ugly plays, the new york giants beat the dallas cowboys once again. let's take it all in for a second. it feels pretty awesome to be the only team to do that this season... and to end our rival's 11-game win streak. here's hoping for another meeting in january.
